Understanding geological processes that span millions of years requires bringing together scientific knowledge and today’s technological capabilities. Our three days at Maden-Tek 2026 provided a valuable opportunity to explore different aspects of this relationship and exchange professional experience.
As Gaia Jeolog, we participated in the event with our own exhibition stand, engaging with experts from various disciplines across the mining industry. Throughout the event, we discussed a wide range of topics, from mineral exploration and geological data management to field applications and emerging technologies.
Our Co-Founder, Geological Engineer, and Database & GIS Director, Ayla Cengiz, delivered a presentation titled “From Geoscience to Data Science: Mineral Exploration in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” Her presentation explored how geological data can be analyzed through artificial intelligence and data science, highlighting their applications and emerging opportunities in mineral exploration.
The discussions at our stand brought together field experience from different projects, technical approaches, and professional perspectives. It was particularly meaningful for us to engage with specialists from across the geosciences and share our work directly with industry professionals.
We sincerely thank everyone who attended our presentation, visited our stand, and contributed their insights, as well as the organizing team whose efforts made this event possible.
We conclude Maden-Tek 2026 with great appreciation for the professional connections established, experiences shared, and productive discussions held over these three days.
Our thanks to everyone we connected with through the common language of geology. We look forward to meeting again through future projects and scientific gatherings.
