Born in 1892, Sayar studied geology in France before returning to Istanbul to teach and conduct groundbreaking research on Turkey\u2019s rocks and fossils. <\/p>\n\n
Throughout his career at Istanbul University and later at the Technical University, he trained generations of geologists and played a vital role in establishing laboratories, academic chairs, and the Faculty of Mining. He earned the title Ordinary\u00fcs Professor in 1954 and passed away in 1965. <\/p>\n\n
